Yes, I believe you would be able to conceive if you have a reversal very soon. If you scroll down my first source, you will see in the chart that your chances are 97% for return of sperm and 76% for obtaining another pregnancy when reversing a vasectomy that is 3 years or less in age (or better….most couples have a 76% chance of conceiving together whether or not they have ever had a vasectomy and reversal…so that is normal odds and you two have proven past fertility together, so your odds are even better than 76%). I think it would take at least 6 months, because it takes around 75 days for new sperm to be produced and work it’s way "through the pipes" so to speak. It could take up to a year (most couples again, whether they’ve went this whole route or not can take up to a year to conceive). Many couples reverse quickly. Many couples feel if it’s within your means, why not reverse? Don’t let anyone make you feel you are alone in this. It’s kind of like making a wrong turn on the road, do you just keep going that way because heck you’re the one that turned that way? Or do you turn around and go the way you want to? There’s nothing wrong with correcting a bad decision. We reversed quickly (within the year of the vasectomy). When we ttc’ed over a year after the reversal (we wanted to space our children farther apart), I conceived within 2 or 3 cycles time. We have a wonderful reversal son. You can find support for reversals on the web by search engining the words "vasectomy reversal message board" and pick one or two of those sites. Try to visit a parenting site that has a reversal message board because those sites offer a wider range of opinions than one particular doctor’s board. GL

I think you decided you didn’t want more kids and should stick with that, my God, it’s only been 3 years ago! You made the right decision in 2007!

If it’s a succerssful reverse then it should be fine.
