Will a Cingular/ATT prepaid Go-phone sim card work in a Cingular Blackberry?

My crony gave me an almost-new Blackberry. If we go with Cingular we have to have a Go-Phone option, will a sim from a go-phone work with a Cingular Blackberry?

It will most likely work for voice, but odds are the data services are not part of the GoPhone package and without a data service you won’t be able to get email on a blackberry which would kind of defeat the purpose
