The way the vasectomy was done could be an indicator of how successful a reversal would be. However, it is still going to be hard to conceive afterwards. You need to consult a doctor to find out the exact chances etc. good luck.

Reversal is pretty much a 50/50 shot. The cost is quite high and not covered by insurance.

Im not an expert on the subject, but I believe it should still be functional after a reversal.

The success rate of a reversal decreases with time. He’ll need to see a urologist.

That’s usually why the doc asks are you SURE you don’t want to have another baby?

If he was "cut" then the odds of successfully reconnecting everything are low, but still possible.

If he was "tied" then the odds are pretty good.

I have heard that the reversal procedure is very difficult to perform and there is a fairly large chance of it still not working.

like zero

zero to none. My cousin did that and after he reversed it they still couldn’t get pregnant. It took him years still no pregnancy and then they started with the adoption process. He was too old to adopt a kid. Then they finally got pregnant naturally but it was after like 5 yrs. His wife is due this summer. Prior to this they did tests to see what was possibly the problem. His sperm were TOO SLOW. They’re very lucky they got pregnant, but if she miscarries…they’d be sc4ewed. I don’t think she’ll miscarry cuz she’s due in like 2 mos. Good Luck!

You have a fair shot. Take a look at the statistics chart in the link I provided. We have a reversal baby. I would recommend reversal personally.
