6 months is not a long time in a reversal. And low sperm count could be from many reasons, best to investigate that through medical web sites and your doctor. I did not do Vas reversal but a tubal reversal…I would highly suggest talking to the doctors about putting you on medication such as Clomid, this will produce more eggs and this will also give a higher rate of success for the sperm to be able to get in the canal…but then you will need to do Artificial insemination, no it is his sperm…they collect it, wash it/spin it and then inject high in to the uterus giving them less to swim…there are other alternatives for the doctors to do to help you out. You could as a last resort also do IVF…
I have been trying with two losses for 3 yrs now…I am on clomid and sperm is excellent. I have ONLY my left side tube so we have to wait until I have a folicle on that side to do the AI {medical term IUI} then we have a higher percentage of pregnancy, however I am also at high risk since I do not carry past 7 wks…so hoping it all works out for us!

It’s my understanding that many reversals need at least a year to approach a good rate of healthy sperm. Perhaps you just need more time.
Hi my friend! Yip, no luck this side aswell!! I hope that is a good sign seeing that our Hubbys reversals were only a month apart!!! That means that maybe we will get preggo the same time! LOL!! I think we should give it time! I have stopped taking my bbt and charting, i am just going on the "plus minus" days. You know, we have sex on the 6 crutial days and go by luck! We are not counting or anything, the stress is just putting us off!!! BUT, all said and done, i still go crazy checking my signs and symptoms and when AF comes i want to cry!!!! We are all human and the same! Lets try and take it easy and maybe it will surprise us!!!
Oh by the way – i went and did ALOT of research on teh low sperm count and holding off sex theory. It turned out to be BULL!! A man can have sex 3 times a day and have the same quality sperm. According to 3 tests done. Well, all the best and i will be holding thumbs!!
