Vasectomy Reversal Followup?

My hsuband had a VR in late Mar (original operation was eleven yrs. ago) as well as you went to a 8 wk post-op final week. you went in a bureau with my hubby in box of questions (and sarcastically to assist in spermatazoa sample- which you approaching which day)…the surgeon pronounced which spermatazoa wouldn’t be constructed until about 3 months post-op, as well as you do not go behind until Sep (5-6 motnhs after) to do spermatazoa representation analysis? Is it me, or is this unusual? Why would spermatazoa stopped being produced; you suspicion they thrtu vasectomy their track was blocked.

I did, as well. My understanding is that a man continualy produces sperm throughout their life, while a woman was born with all the eggs she would ever have. I’d be getting a second opinion… not to contradict your doctor, but that goes against what we were all taught in biology, so I’d be confused as well.

He’s wrong. My husband had his test within 6 weeks of his reversal and everything was working just fine. I can understand if swelling could slow down the sperm a bit, but his body shouldn’t take that long to give a sample. Maybe they are waiting for the swelling and for everything to heal up.
