Our VR was done soon after the V, but I know of couples who reversed an old V and still ended up with babies. It is true though that success rates decline as the vasectomy becomes older. I guess you have to look at it and decide whether 50 % chance of working is worth it to you. I don’t think you are too old although many doctors will tell you that you are AMA. I had my first son at age 36 and my reversal baby at age 39, so you sound young enough to me. And I had a doctor tell me I was too old at age 30 and he told me I was anovulatory and premenopausal at that age and yet I conceived one of my daughter’s then without his help after 2 years of trying.
