yes, it is. i was diagnosed three and a half years ago. it’s an EXTREMELY hard transition, i know. but slipping up is not worth it. the pains you feel come from eating gluten. the "slip ups" will not only make the pain worse, but also have serious consequences including infertility. go to local health food stores for gluten free foods such as pizza crust, corn pasta (my fav), donuts, cookies, etc. many restaurants have gluten free menu’s now, including olive garden and panera bread. even starbucks has a gluten free treat now.

Yes, all of this is associated with celiac. There is a gluten free beer. It is called Red Bridge. Quite good. You can cause serious damage to your small intestine if you continue to eat gluten. There are support groups available to help you to adjust. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago and you can do this. Your pains are getting more severe because your small intestine has not had a good opportunity to heal. You can get cancer if you continue on this road. Educate yourself re this disease by going on line and getting more information. Google this and read all you can about Celiac Disease. These miserable symptoms will subside if you are really vigilant about what you are eating. I have learned that I need to carefully read all labels. There is gluten in gravies and soups for thickeners. Modified food starch can be wheat or corn, so you will need to know which you are eating.
