hi all,
ever given withdrawal uni, i worked for myself, as well as opportunely been utterly successful too. However, i am extraordinary as to how the similar to to be an worker for once in my life. I’ve sole all my businesses upon prolonged leases as well as have done the preference to demeanour for the job. Is this the correct move? i’ve regularly longed for to work in the monetary institute, as well as have left onto study for the CEMAP qualification, as well as review countless compared articles upon the subject.
I’m right away 32, with utterly the bit of knowledge in most areas of business, have i left it as well late to get the job? where would be the great place to get the feet hold?
yeh i have grade in commercial operation administration.

In most cases, it’s never too late to retrain for a new career, and 32 certainly isn’t that old.
However, I do wonder if some employers may see you as "unemployable". There’s a big difference between being an employee and running your own business in terms of how you behave, how you relate to people, etc, even if you’re doing relatively similar jobs, and sometimes people just can’t adjust.
So, I don’t think you’re going to find it easy to find a new job, but then again, it won’t be impossible. If you’ve been successful at running your own business then it’s likely that you’re a natural networker, and that will be important. Many people will tell you that "it’s not what you know, it’s who you know" when you’re looking for a job and whilst that isn’t always true, you need someone who is going to look past just your CV and this will more likely be a friend or a friend of a friend.
If you really do it find it difficult, you may be best to dumb down your CV and make it appear that you’re a graduate with little or no experience, rather than someone who has successfully run their own businesses. Even though you shouldn’t have to do this, it may be that this helps you to get a a foot in the door so that you can progress from there.
my dads business needs a finicail dictator
Hi Bluecow,
Accountancy is one of the best occupations to be. I am talking about the private ones who can make a mid fortune.
£5,000 per a Job. – one client (maximum earning)
So, you could make at least £500 per a day.
You have certainly done well to become successful at the age of 32. I am waiting to go into business, currently a student with 2 business qualifications, one is a small one and the other is a full GCSE.

Lol!!! I have just done CeMAP 1 myself.
I think with Financial/Mortgage Advise they tend to favour experience as opposed to traditional qualifications. You should be fine as long as you know how to sell and have great inter-personal skills.
Also, did you actually get a degree? If so, which one? You may find that you can get a higher paid job if you have the right degree…
EDIT
If you have your heart set on working in Finance, you may want to get information about jobs in Investment/Private Banking. Big names such as Morgan Stanley or KPMG have various graduate schemes, and they should pay well.
You might want to consider that before taking the plunge into Mortgage Advice – the market is too lean at the moment for that…
It’s never too late to get back into the workforce. You do have a few obstacles to overcome, however with the right attitude it should be a piece of cake.
I just got my Degree in Business Administration and I turned 33 two weeks ago. Not too late.
I went with a large gaming company.
Better late than never,if in deed this is what you want, although it may be some what more difficult to obtain the employment that you are seeking, because of the lack of any past employers, keep in mind that this is only an opinion so don’t let my opinion discourage you, because this may not be a detriment at all! Best Wishes!
Are you crazy? any idea what its like to be ripped off for your sweat and hard work. Heres an idea join a recruitment agency thats looking for labourers on building sites for example Hays construction and property. Ripped off isn’t the word more like ripped apart and threw to the wolves. Sit easy and chill with your success. Times are very hard, and the leeches are feasting good. Thats recruitment agencies.
