Sound like you do not have a case yet. You need to go get another opinion from a different mechanic. The problems with the"slipping and jerking" could be something internal in the transmission. How many miles are on the car and was it serviced properly? The parking claw is exactly that (used only when the car is in park), it will not effect anything while moving. As for the dealer saying there is nothing wrong….they may be right..you did buy a Chrysler. The only complaint you have now is with the dealership you bought the car / warranty.

Future recommendation…stay away from Chrysler / Dodge products…you get what you pay for….why do you think they are doing the lifetime warranty. Jeep on the other hand is OK.

I am sorry I am not able to answer your question directly, but you will need to do multiple repairs for the same problem before you fall in the lemon category.

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.
