If we routinely trim an area we have been starting to have laser treated with colour for hair dismissal should we trim it or let it grow prior to diagnosis or does it matter?

NO, better not

It matters, you should shave it, the day of your laser appointment.

For laser hair removal, you want to have SOME hair on the area so that the technician is able to see where your hair grows and treat those places and not worry about places where you don’t have hair growing.

If your hair is over an inch long, it will probably need to be cut down a little, but not completely shaved. However, before a laser hair removal service, the technician will evaluate if the hair is too long or not and cut it down a bit for you with clippers.

Bottom line is: DON’T shave before you go. If the hair is too long, they will take care of it for you.

i think you should leave it because then they wont miss a spot if you shave i know if you come home and notice there is a patch of hair still there you will be pissed. dont shave is my answer. good luck with your hair removal.
