Well, Tracfone is okay for some people but if you like to text it can get expensive. Straight Talk is a company that’s branched with Tracfone but for someone who texts you get more for your money. They both have the same coverage & from what I’ve read it has excellent coverage all around the US. Then there is Virgin Mobile who offers more for you money than both Tracfone & Straight Talk but I don’t know how good the coverage is in California. It has excellent coverage in the south though.
I have had both AT&T and Verizon monthly plans and also AT&T prepaid,and neither of them were worth having.
