First, congratulations for embarking on this journey of reversal; I can imagine you are very excited. We decided that vasectomy was wrong for us very quickly. I think we knew it was wrong before we ever had the vas, but society convinced us otherwise. Once we walked with sterility, we knew we wanted a reversal. My husband had PVPS from his vasectomy and I had desires for at least the possibility of more children. So we called around to many doctors and researched each one on the internet. Part of the way to have a successful reversal is picking the proper microsurgeon for it. The most skilled surgeon that specialized in reversals was Dr. Douglas Schow in our local area. We actually made a family vacation out of it. It went well. Dh’s PVPS went away and his fertility returned. A year later, we ttc’ed. It only took 2 or 3 cycles and I was pregnant. You will find many similar stories of hope there and make many friends that can help lead you through the process of reversal.
