It depends on the method used and how long since but generally it’s between 50-70% effective.

If it’s been more than two years there’s also a percentage of the tube that carries sperm closing, further complicating the issue and meaning that there is no way to get a 100% success rate.
And there’s an increased risk of birth defects too.
You’ll usually have to pay around $7,000 out of your own pocket for it.

I don’t know the percentages. But the only chance you have is a world class vascular surgeon.

My husband had a vasectomy done and his doctor told him it is possibly reversable— although our three is enough! The only way to know for sure is for him to see the doc. If he reverses it the sperm will come out with the semen which can impregnate you.

Good Luck and Best Wishes!!

you better ask doctor specialist for that case…you’re both young, why did you let it happen years ago…

Actually the surgery to reverse a vasectomy can be success at 100% with no problems to have family again if the vasectomy have no long time ago been made. Talk about the facts that he would be thinking to reverse the surgery, he wants more family with you, or want to remarried, or is having and affair.

**** I AM IN THE PLAYPEN WITH MILDRED***

yes it is possible, and yes there is a good chance that you can concieve to. there is alot of information out there on this and I would try google first to see if it would be right for you

Since you two have children together and the vasectomy is only three years old, you have very, very good odds of a successful reversal. 97% chance of a return of some sperm and a 76% or greater chance of pg. Why 76%…well even "normal" couples have those odds of pg and yours would actually be higher than most couples because you have past proven fertility together. Alot of factors go into whether a couple can have a baby together. Anyway, find yourself an experience VR microsurgeon who does reversals on a daily basis. Make sure he has statistics to back him up. Expect to pay anywhere from $2000 to $10,000 out of pocket as insurance companies do not pay for an elective surgery.
