The only way other than a reversal that I am aware of is microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration. You can read about it here

http://www.malereproduction.com/12_spermaspiration.html

I am leaning towards a reversal not because I want more kids but rather in an effort to stop the months of pain and regain some (hopefully all) of the sensation I have lost since my vas. In any case I do not believe that either is covered by insurance if used to restore fertility. In rare instances I have been told that they have paid for reversals in cases of vasectomy related pain.

Go to The government website National Institute for Health
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/
and type in something like "vasectomy reversal fertility"

The first two studies I read showed rates of success between 62.4% and 72%. It appears that the age of the female is important (Rates of fertility in one study decreased after age 40 ). You can also search for microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration. There are a lot of studies on the site

zero, unless he saved sperm or he reverses it, which he can do

Don’t listen to the uneducated.

While the odds of becoming pregant after a reversal are not 100%, the best, expertly-trained microsurgeons can get 90-95% results.

I had a reversal in mid-2006. I was suffering from post-vasectomy pain due to congested epididymides and an violent immune system response to sperm outside the reproductive tract. Not only did the reversal cure most of my pain, but we conceived our 4th child six months later.

See Dr. Sheldon Marks, Dr. Philip Werthman, Dr. Michael Witt, or anyone at the Cleveland Clinic where many of the microsurgical reversal techniques were pioneered.

You "won the lotto" stick with him. You have the perfect excuse to not have children.

Some less than ethical doctors offer reversals. You are talking about many thousands of dollars, and a low success rate. I do not know anyone that has had success. When they say 90% they mean there is a 90% chance to make sperm again, not a 90% chance of pregnancy. It is all about selling "false hope". The state of California has been trying to regulate this for many years.

You are better off adopting. I know that is not the answer you want, but it is an honest one.

The other solutions are sperm aspiration or T.E.S.E. Either way, you are talking about spending a lot of money.
