Does any a single have any report about a lemon law as well as only what a single would have to do/go by in sequence to acknowledgement their automobile a lemon? we have a code code brand new 2006 Jetta GLI, as well as after about a month of owning it, it stopped…dead. we had to have it towed to Denver as well as they pronounced it was only a ignition relay, though we do not consider which should be function with a code code brand new car.
Has any a single had knowledge with a "lemon law"?

Again, bestwrencher has the correct answer but i would like to add to it a bit, this is important when dealing with lemon law claims.

Each time you need to go back to the dealership for the same repair,be SURE the write it up exactly as it was previously, some dealerships change-up the wording on complaints making it difficult to make the lemon-law claim based on #number of complaints for the same issue.

Ive seen this happin often while working in the dealership,it`s unfortunate but it does happin, proper documentation is a must.

I think the lemon law varies state to state, so you might look up lemon laws for your specfic state (or a lot of times there is information concerning lemon laws in the warranty book).

Depends on what state you live in – see link below

not sure about colorado but in most states you have to have the same problem occur 3 or 4 times within a certain amount of time usually 12 and the problem can not be resolved… hope it doent happen again but electrical components are like light bulbs sometimes the just quit working could be eligible for reimbursement from the dealer if it is still under factory warranty

Lemon law is for a problem that hasnt been repaired after asking more than three times….you have to have documented the problem 3 times and not had any satisfaction(save paperwork) if a dealer cant repair the same problem after three tries, then they may be obligated to buy vehicle back

check with your local Better Business Bureau or DMV. They can help you.
