I’m an expert witness for a lawfirm that handles hundreds of lemon law complaints. Mazda, like it’s parent company, Ford, requires you to turn the car in at the dealer, someone from the dealer inspects the vehicle, and once they fax an inspection report to Mazda’s attorneys, check are immediately cut covering your payoff, and whatever your state allows you to be reimbursed on.
The want to make sure the car wasn’t recently wrecked, has signs of abuse, etc, so they’re not doing themselves harm by taking the car. Having dealth with thousands of these cases with clients, and three personally, I, nor anyone else I know, has ever waited more than 2 days for a check after the car was turned in.
My friend returned her car the day she got the check – directly to the dealer. But, she went throught the BBB for free, so she worked directly with Ford. Try calling Mazda to see if you can figure out what is going on.
you can call mazda unless they are still not happy with u nhtsa might be able to help its on the web http://www.nhtsa.com or gov
What is your question? Your statement of facts is pretty bad for someone who says s/he is a "future millionaire."
Have you already turned the car in? Why do you want to keep it until the 29th if you have not turned it in, since it is a lemon? Or are you saying it ran well enough for you to keep using it until the 29th?
If you don’t get the money (cash or certified check or equivalent) on the 29th, file a complaint with the Attorney General of your state.
