Fluids are identifiable. Aside of your states lemon laws, I would find a new mechanic.
Lemon laws only apply to SAFETY related problems, and if it’s been going on for four years, it’s obviously NOT a defect that relates to safety, or has required your vehicle to be out of service for extended periods while repairs were attempted.
Your little drip would come under the category of nuisance, rather than dangerous. Have you even determined what it is that’s dripping? Oil? Water? Transmission Fluid?
