Lemon Law(s) do not apply to used vehicles.

The federal lemon law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects citizens of all states. State lemon laws vary by state and may not necessarily cover used or leased cars.

All that i know, i tried to search but couldnt bring anything up :( , i hope that helps in someway

save your reciepts
contact the dealer and let them know you intend to file a lemon law suit against them unless they compensate you fairly
have in mind a reasoonable compensation, pay the bills different car

Lemon Laws do NOT exist for used cars. Lemon Laws are used if you buy a new car that has problems. Sometimes the factory screws up, and if you buy a new car, it should be just right.
What you can do, if you bought the car from a dealership, within the past month, if you have put less than 1000 miles on it…is call them up, speak with the sales manager or the owner, tell them the situation and that you are not happy with it, and you think that they knew this car was problematic and didn’t tell you, all you are asking is that they credit you all the money, including tax and fees towards something else on their lot. If they are really nice and happy customers are important to them, then this may work. But it’s 90% likely that they will say sorry buddy, you bought a used car, should have purchased the extended warranty, you are screwed.
I sell cars at a dealership in WA. In the Olympia Auto Mall. If you have any more questions, or want to trade it in, let me know! My dealership offers warranty’s and satisfaction and price guarantees on our used cars, unlike most. We don’t screw over our customers.

Nope.

What you can do is pay for proper diagnosis and repairs out of your own pocket.

That’s how all grown-ups who screw up a car purchase by not letting a mechanic inspect it first do things.

Not that I know about that personally…
