The statue of limitation is usually in most states 2 years. So, seemingly after so much time passed since that tragically event not much could be done. However this is true for individual cases – you on a behalf of your grandma are trying to sue some medical institution or a doctor. In case of collective lawsuit (Class action) it could be much longer. So, you should look if any Class action sutes against Vioxx are around and just join it.
