No it doesn’t. All private party car sales are AS IS. Means no warranty of any kind………….md

Absolutely not.

There is NO state in which the Lemon Law applies to used vehicles, or vehicles purchased from a private seller.

It is ONLY new vehicles, from a dealership. The Lemon law is to protect against manufacturer defects. That’s all.

no it only covers new cars.

As is means AS IS in every state.

There is no such thing as a lemon law relating to used cars.

You check the car out and if you are satisfied, YOU buy it.

Once you buy an as-is car, its yours.

Some used cars come with warrantys and you will usually pay more for them. but no lemon laws.
