If I buy AT&T SIM card from ebay, how do I activate it for ATT GOPHONE?

Can we buy a code brand new at&t sim label from ebay, afterwards someway get it activated for a att phone we have? If so, what would we have to do? Anybody ever do that? Is there a special SIM for prepaid/gophones or have been they a same as SIM cards with plans?

Don’t waste your money. When you go into the AT&T store or call customer service, they will give you a free SIM card with your new GoPhone service. There is no special SIM for GoPhone’s but it does have to be activated at a store or by calling customer service.
