I LOVE Page Plus. I just switched over on Saturday after my 2 year contract w/ AT&T was up.
Answers to your questions:
1) Yes you can use a Verizon phone, but they told me that it can’t be a Smartphone (like a Palm or a Blackberry). However, another Page Plus agency said that they can do it. So, I don’t know. You’ll just have to take your Verizon phone in and ask them to test it. I know that you can’t just go and buy a Verizon Pre-paid phone at Walmart, say, because it won’t work. You can use a Pre-paid Verizon phone as long as it’s an older model (like from 1 year ago), but I was told that none of the recent ones will take Page Plus because it has some kind of blocker in it. All 3 of us in our family use Page Plus with used pre-paid phones that our friends gave us, and there’s no problem. My suggestion to you is to take your Verizon phone in there and get it tested.

I think you’ll be fine in Miami. I think you might run into some challenges if you go west of Miami, into the Everglades (but why would you wanna go there?)

3) Yes, it is a VERY GOOD company. And no, I’m not a Page Plus dealer, I don’t work for them, I’m just a customer recommending something that works for me and my family. My friends also love it.

4) About getting a Verizon phone to work in non-roaming, I don’t know the answer to that. As far as getting unlimited talk/text and 20 mb web, yes that is right. Basically, you can’t get on the Internet w/ the 20mb of web, but you can get 20 mb of web when it comes to picture messages. How do pic messages work? You need a phone that will send/receive pic messages and just follow the instructions. Very easy.

Page Plus hasn’t come out with a package that you can add actual Internet to your phone (like Boost Mobile, which is also good). The dealer I go to, he told me that pretty soon you can add a $10 or $20 card to your phone to get unlimited internet or something, but nothing has been defined right now. Page Plus, as of right now, is just $40 w/ unlimited talk/text and 20mb. And, quite frankly, that’s good enough for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Page Plus.
