I have a question about unlocked phones. Can I use them with my prepaid ATT account and just pop the sim in?

I wanna get an unbarred phone from ebay, though im not sure if i should get a single becuz i do not know if they will work with my prepaid att go phone account. I’ve been celebration of a mass about unbarred phones, as well as ppl r observant all u have to do is put ur sim in. Is which true? Oh as well as where can i get poor unbarred phones? Thank You!!!!!!!

Ok, so im adding some-more item becuz a chairman only answered my question, though right away im extraordinary about an additional thing. we right away assimilate a partial about a phone will work if i cocktail a sim label in, though i do not unequivocally get a partial which sure tools of a phone won’t work if a not unbarred right. So if a not unbarred right a txting as well as a media net won’t work? Help!!!!!!!

That is true. As long as the phone is unlocked, the SIM should work.
Correctly unlocked phones are not usually cheap, and if device is not unlocked correctly, many features, such as data, text etc. won’t work correctly. You may want to look on Craigslist or eBay.

If the phone is not unlocked using the manufacturers or providers code, it unlocks the phone for use with the other SIM, but the text/data features may not work. This would include getting the phone unlocked at an electronics store or kiosk, so I don’t recommend this.
