Seriously, you chill the sperm to about 4 degrees; then flash freeze it with liquid nitrogen. Just freezing it to fridge temps will create ice crystals rom the water in the sperm cells, and hence destroy them. Liquid nigtrogen is about -140 degrees, and the water solidifies without forming crystals (like glass instead of sand or salt)
Most of those "don’t try this at home, kids" warnings are there for a reason. Your best bet is to do extraction just when you are ovulating and inject what you can right away. Save the rest for no more than a few days in the cooler to add to the fertilizing experience.
