Most people have some minimal discomfort; some may experience a minor stinging sensation on the skin as the Laser pulses are delivered.
But its all the latest stuff and the benefits will far outweight this discomfort

Lasers work best on people with pale skin & dark hair.
Hair removal on small areas like the lip or the chin takes a few minutes, whereas the treatment of a wide area like a leg or a thigh requires between twenty to fifty minutes.
Never trust a company that guarantees hair removal. I suggest you try to a consultation in person before you sign up.

The treatment involves a series of impulses leading to a feeling of prickling & slight burn. One can compare the feeling of the treatment with that which one feels if one takes a series of blows with a rubber band. The majority of the patients will tolerate it without the need for anaesthesia. The patients who want it can benefit from a cream- based topical anaesthesia. In the few minutes following the treatment, the skin of the treated area turns slightly pink, and you might feel a little sunburned for a couple of days.

it only works on dark hair - the darker the better. i know several people who were told they would need 6 sessions but 8 later and they still have hair. it does work but you have to be commited to it and it almost usually goes over the estimated sessions by about 4. the length of a session depends on the area size and pain wise its very mild - like snapping an elastiic band against your skin. expect mild redness, hope i was of some help. xx
