I can’t help with any money but lenders are not really wanting to forclose right now unless they just have no choice. You also told them you would have them paid on time and things happened and you couldn’t. You need to try one last time to make a deal with the lender you already have. Sell everything you can and get as much money together as possible. Have a garage/ yard sale. If you were both able to work would you be able to pay all your bills? Do you have any recource to get money from the accidents? You can borrow against a settlement, I think Peachtree offers something there too. You might have to bite the bullet and go smaller and cheaper and work your way back up. It happens to the best of us.
