Sorry but you can’t have laser hair removal because of your skin color. The laser targets dark colors and burns them and passes through light colors. It passes through white skin and burns the dark follicle so hair never grows from it again. No salon, derm, medspa would do laser hair removal on you because it would just blister and burn your skin horribly. They don’t have anything right now for permanent hair removal for dark complexion people, sorry. Try the no shaving bill or whatever, or wax before you head off to boot camp… that way your hair will grow back thin for about 2 months and shaving wont give you as many ingrowns. Waxing is probably your best option
What’s your question? Are you allowed to do in the AF? If that’s what you’re trying to find out, then yeah, it’s fine. It’s TECHNICALLY a "medical procedure", but you don’t need to notify your chain of command about it.
if anything do it after you complete your training
Laser hair removal sounds a little drastic to me. If your skin breaks out bad if you have to shave everyday you can get a shaving waiver from a military doctor.
You can get a no shaving profile when you get there. Enjoy your beard.
