I understand the boat you are in. My husband and I got married 2 years ago. He had been married before and had 3 children but I have not been married and have no children. He actually told me on our first date that if we married he would have a reversal. So he did, this past September. We did research and actually found a place in (Tampa) Florida that specializes in Vasectomies and reversals (see http://www.vasweb.com). We live in Upstate NY but Dr. Stein charged about $3500 total which in comparison was amazingly cheap! Fortunately we had family down there so it was worthwhile to travel! The doctor was wonderful too!
Unfortunately we have not had any luck yet, but I believe that it will happen. The doctor said that the original vasectomy had been performed very well so it was easy to reverse. My husband had gone 6 years before the reversal. Hopefully it works for us because he is 10 years older than me and I really want children! Best of luck to you!

the chances of a successful reversal ocurring is slim but could happen. surely ur doctor has explained this to u?

My friend’s mom got pregnant…and husband had a vasectomy. (not reversed) Now they are proud parents of a son…their other children are 29 and 26!! Good Luck!
