yes i did it once, i was supposed to go back for 5 more treatments but i got preggo. It doesnt really hurt it feels more like a shock, it last about an hour it depends on what area it is. It aslso depends on how dark and thick your hair is to determine how many sessions you need. There is no long term consequences that I know of.
