Instead of shopping a GPS complement for my automobile we listened we could get an Android dungeon phone with giveaway GPS instead? Is which true? How good does which work in a car?

I now have an ATT prepaid phone. Does Android suggest prepaid use instead of contracts?

I have the Androids and it has GPS and Google maps and as you might expect the android screen is quite small and hard to manage if you are driving. The gps/maps for your car is a bigger screen and easier to use ‘on the fly’. It is designed to be seen from the dashboard and programmed specifically for traveling. I use the android GPS for my work though. I Work with realtors and have to find streets and ;places and call them. I don’t know of one ‘instead of the other. The both have their own separate advantages and are probably best used in their own right.

Really the only Android device out now that is really geared to replace an in car GPS device is the new Motorola Droid on the Verizon network. It is the only device out now that has the newest version of Android (v2.0). This new version has turn by turn navigation in Google Maps. Also, Verizon released a windshield mount to really make this phone a great GPS replacement.
