I now have an att prepaid phone. If we buy an unbarred Samsung Gravity 2 (T-mobile), can we keep a same number, switch to t-mobile prepaid, as well as lift over a stream mins we have with att by relocating a simcard in to a brand new phone?

If the Samsung Gravity 2 phone is already unlocked, you can just put in your current at&t prepaid sim card. IF you WANT to switch to at&t, it is unlikely you would get to keep your phone number, as well as your minutes- as it does not carry over. Let me know if you have any other questions! Goodluck.
You seem confused. If you bought the Samsung Gravity II unlocked you could put your AT&T SIM in the phone and it would all be gravy. You wouldn’t switch to T-Mobile Service though. Have any more questions please e-mail me at eric_wagoner13@yahoo.com
