I would ask fertility sisters these questions
they will know and wont tell you to go to the
doctors unless they absolutley cant answer your questions.
They are not all about points. Its a beautiful forum for ladies ttc.

The only thing they ask is that you register before posting which
takes about 2 minutes but worth it!

Just go ask em! fertility sisters. c o m

Go to vasectomy.com. They have records on vasectomy/reversal doctors all over the country.

ask your doctor or insurance company for a referral to a urologist.

I search engined the reversal doctors in your area, and the only one I’m familiar with is Dr. Marc Goldstein. I’ve been involved with the reversal community now for around 5 years. I don’t remember his exact prices, but I do believe they are higher than most reversal doctors. You may want to shop around and not settle for a doctor just because he is local. Often, you can travel to another doctor and still come out money ahead. Truely, your most important deciding factor should be expertise and then probably the next most important is a doctor who is known for making the surgery as comfortable for the patient as possible. Of course, expensive and travel convienence is also important. An excellent place to research the questions you should be asking and for also a list of doctors that perform the surgery can be found at my first source. Reversal success rates for a 6 year old vasectomy are reasonable. Please check out my second source to see what your odds are. There are many pro-vasectomy (anti-child/family) posters here on answers that will try anything to discourage you. I’m the other side of the coin; I have a large family that also consists of a reversal toddler son, so we’re proof that reversals do work.
