Do you have to go to the same surgeon who preformed a vasectomy?

My father had a vasectomy. He is thinkin about a reversal. Do we have to go to a same surgeon? He wants someone different.

He can chose any doc he wants to to have the reversal done. The doc he went to the first time will have more of a history on him, but if he didn’t like that doc he can choose a new one.

No he doesn’t. Many doctors who perform vasectomies also perform reversals as a significant percentage of men change their minds.
