I think the whole FEMA conspiracy is a little out there. It was supposed to happen this year, remember? $200-300 a barrel gas prices and all that, and the YouTube clips showing "millions of stacked coffins" as plans for our quick removal seems pretty unrealistic
<"economic collapse with massive social unrest">
That’s also what has always been required for a Marxist/Communist takeover. Destabilization and Crisis.
FEMA will be what all government agencies (including congress) are ruled under when Martial Law is inforced
Just ask yourself why congress cannot view the Continuity of Government report until 6 months after Martial Law actually happens.
FEMA camps are real..you can even google it and see pictures of the concentration camps that exsit on US soil for yourself.
***In response to "Zarathus" it is agaist the law for the US to be placed under martial law becasue it will essentally put the US in a Dictatorship..That is why the Constitution was written, to ensure we stay a free society and have free elections. With a dictator, they do not insure elections or any rights to life.
Katrina is an exact lesson on why you do not take guns away from law abiding citizens. With guns we are citizens, without them we are subjects.
The Second Amendment was given to us for a reason..to protect our homes, families, and property in the case of a National emergency. We have the right and the duty to shoot the government or any foreign military if they come on our property and pose any threat to our constitutional livelyhood.
It is the job of the State to insure order in the case of an emergencey…NOT THE GOVERNMENT, they protect us from foreign attacks
Katrina was our lesson. Only criminals committed crimes of looting and murder. Law abiding citizens stayed home with their families to ensure survival.
A wise farmer will prepare the soil, plant the seed, nurture the plant, and when the fruit is ripe, he will reap his harvest.
1915-1929 preparation
1929-1941 planting season
1941-1964 early nurturing
1964-2008 fertilization as the fruit bears and ripens
2008???? –
The fruits (us) are ready for the harvest.
So what. The government needs to maintain order in the case of a national panic as the result of some widespread disaster. Look at Katrina with all the mayhem and looting. The government needs to step in and maintain order so it can help fix the problem and restrict violence and anarchy. Do you really not understand that?
This is not unreasonable. However, mobs of scared people are when faced with a breakdown of law as in the case of some sort of national disaster. Before you throw the panic alarm that the government is trying to hurt you., ask yourself…What would you propose they do in this scenario? Let everyone run wild and kill eachother?
In response to sharlis…..
I never said anyting about the second ammendment. I am 100 % for gun rights. I am a conservative republican who is against big government. However, The government has a responsibility to prevent riotous mobs in the streets from destroying the city.
The argument I made is for the scenario of…"MASSIVE social unrest" (as stated in the question) like riots and such. I think you are jumping the gun a little when you immediatly start talking of dictatorships. Come on!
Though , on 2nd thought, to be honest, I agree with everything you say. I concede my argument. I was only speaking of police and such to mobilze and protect against rioters.. I did not read the question as thoroughly as I should have.
Sharliz is correct, the Fema camps are real. Google "Fema Rex 84". My mom’s brother in law is a retired army colonel who used to work in the pentagon, but is still briefed on these things. He basically says that things are going to get worse, much much worse.
