No, they are saying that they are offering "employee pricing" to the general public. It would make no sense to advertise to employees, who would already be aware of the products & specials.
You will also see owner loyalty programs advertised, and these really do only apply to current owners of that brand (or brand family). If you are talking Ford, Chevy, GMC, etc…, that is a very large pool of buyers.
HOWEVER, when you see $199/month advertised, that isn’t what you’ll write the check for every month. It’s always $199 + tax/month (so $219 might be the payment on a $199 lease). Be sure to read the fine print at the bottom of the ad (if you have a DVR, you can pause it). Often there will be a cap cost reduction or trade credit included as down payment to reduce your monthly payment. That means the TRUE monthly payment would be much higher (especially if you have nothing to trade!).
You can call & ask for all of the details of the special before going in, OR, you can visit the manufacturer’s website. Often, they will have all the specifics of the special laid out on the site, since these are usually national, manufacturer backed programs.
