BSOD or Blue Screen of Death is an Emergency shutdown to stop any further damage to your Critical System files or Hardware.. In your case I’d suggest removing the battery and then attaching it after sometime and see if it isn’t loose then I’d see if BSOD is caused when I run a specific software, If yes then check with the Software website if it is compatible with Windows 7 or not. If not is there a patch which makes it. If nothing works out reinstall your OS..
