can you transfer a phone number from a prepay phone (t-mobile) to a contract phone? (iphone att)?

I wish to buy the Iphone though right right away the phone we have is the prepay phone from tmobile. we dont wish to remove my series since we unequivocally dont wish to go upon revelation people which we have the brand new number.
