Unfornately they do not offer insurance for most prepaid phones yet. The only thing you can do if something happens to it is just buy another phone. The only prepaid provider that offers insurance for the moment is Metro PCS and that’s only if you are on a certain plan. Sorry. The only other option is that depending on how old you are and how much you are on your phone you may want to think about switching to a contract. With a contract you get unlimited nights and weekend and long distance calling which is not a perk you can get with prepaid service. Also for an additional $15 a month you can get unlimited texting which is what i have. If you are not yet 18(which is how old you have to be to get a contract) see if you can get someone to co-sign for you or just add you to their lines. I hope this has helped you out and if you have any other questions you can either go online to att.com or call customer service @ 1-800-331-0500 Best of luck and God Bless.

I worked for AT&T/Cingular for a few years, and we never allowed prepaid users to have insurance on their phones.

That was over a year ago though. It doesn’t hurt to call customer service to ask. Call 1-800-331-0500 and they can transfer you over.
