can the att iPhone 3g(the new ones) be prepaid on att?

I have the reticent phone upon att that’s prepaid…Do we guys consider if i buy an att iPhone 3G upon eBay as well as put my prepaid Sim label in to the iPhone 3g which the iPhone 3G will work upon prepaid?

,Or does it have to be unbarred in sequence for it to work upon prepaid from att?
bcuz my cousin has the prepaid iPhone 2G…..
So can anybody which has knowledge with iPhones greatfully answer….

No. Even if you put your SIM card into it, it will still not b prepaid! The only prepaid phones are the Go phones

The iphone 3g can only activate on a postpaid plan not prepaid. You have to have a data plan for it to work and there are no prepaid iphone data plans. Even if you try to sneak the iphone on your account at&t will know and they will shut you off. You should see about the samsung eternity or lg vu.
