Tell you a situation. Me as well as my ex-girlfriend only sealed a franchise in Aug to magnify a franchise for eleven some-more months. In Sep you got in to it after a speak she motionless to pierce out as well as pointer an additional franchise elsewhere. Looking during my finance management It showed which you would be barely(and you meant barely) means to keep a place. There was unequivocally mutual agreement for her to pierce as you would design a alternative partner to be a tad hesitant.
Where im starting might receptive to advice similar to green grapes though listen to me out. you do not wish to get in to a incident where if my automobile breaks down or you have to be put in to a sanatorium which you can’t means to do it. Even seeking during a unclothed smallest you have per month(hourly employee) It shows small room for error. you have a a single room as well as it’s not similar to you can only pierce someone else in as well as all would be fine. you have suspicion of articulate to a leasing bureau as well as saying if you can rent a apt, try as well as find a roommate on-line so you can pierce in to a 2 bedroom. Heck you have even deliberate anticipating an additional pursuit only to keep a place means you similar to it. What if you can’t get it figured right away? What if you get in a connect as well as a series of situations come up as well as you can’t pay?
So fundamentally can you get any remuneration for a superfluous months of my franchise if you get in to a connect as well as presumably can’t pay? you assimilate which a agreement is with a Complex as well as not me as well as even if it was there would have to be a little arrange of explanation which you determine to compensate half. you unequivocally do not wish to remove a place as well as go by relocating or removing kicked out though you do not wish to be a a single removing screwed over with nowhere to go.
Oh BTW my partner is upon a franchise with me. Don’t get it confused with it being only me upon a lease. If which were a box you know you would have to understanding with it.

If her name was not on the lease, she is not legally responsible to pay you anything. Now MORALLY/ETHICALLY, that is a different story, but I am not sure of what kind of person you are dealing with. You may be better off going to the front office and ask them what sort of penalty will you incur if you break your lease. They may be able to let you out of it, without putting it on your credit report. But, I am sure it won’t be cheap. However, it wil be much easier to pay the fee and move somewhere that you can afford, rather than struggle for the next year. Good luck!
When you originally signed the lease, did you and your girlfriend agree that you’d both be paying X amount of the rent? Was she paying that amount up until the two of you broke up? What agreement did the two of you come to when you decided to break up/she decided to move out?
If you had an original agreement between the two of you that she would be paying part of the rent, can prove that she was indeed paying a share of the rent at or after the time you re-signed the lease for another year, and did not agree mutually that she would move out and you would take full responsibility for the apartment, you can file a small claim against her for rent owed either until you sublet the apartment or until the lease is up. If she just walked out, she’s still liable for her share of the bills that the two of you had arranged previously.
On the other hand, if you did mutually agree that she would move out and that you would stay on in the apartment and exempt her from further responsibility, that more or less voids any agreement you previously had about sharing the rent. If the latter is the case some free legal advice about your exact position with regard to making a small claim would be wise.
By leaving, she’s abandoned her agreement, and unless you along with the management have signed off on it, she can not remove herself from the lease. If you choose or need to during the lease term for which she is signed, you can absolutely take her to small claims court for her share.
