Hey.

I’m starting an adult website, as well as will be purchasing a calm from a particular models. we will not be hosting leased content. Instead, we will prepare shoots with models, that will afterwards be done, pricing will be negotiated, they will pointer a photo/video/content release, as well as we will give them a check.

After stuffing for my DBA/Certificate of Trade Name, we still have nonetheless to record for a FEIN, as well as I’m not certain if we unequivocally have to. we will have positively no employees. It’s technically a *parternship* since a tenure of a association belongs to myself as well as a single alternative person. I’m wondering – Will these models be deliberate employees, contractors ? What will they be considered, as well as who will have to be concerned about profitable income taxation for them?

They will act as contractors, not employees. Get them to fill out a 1099 form before they start work. At the end of the year you’ll mail them each a 1099 which just states the total amt you paid out to them that year. Models pay their own taxes. Just as you’ll have to pay your taxes on all your profits minus your biz expenses.

You’ll need to give them a 1099 tax form, anyone you pay money out as a contractor you need to do that. They will most likely be considered independent contractors, depending how you structure the agreement with them
