Most lemon laws don’t apply to vehicles over 10 years old or 100,000 miles. If the car was obviously mis-represented you should be able to take the dealer to small claims court and recoup your money.

that is ashame , ebay is a great idea that many jerks are giving people the shaft and ruining it . I would think it is all sold "as-is" and you were suppose to have inspected before purchasing . You could leave him a bad rating .. lol

Buying a car on EBAY is not a good idea – unless you can inspect before you buy.

Unless the dealer sold this car under there dealer license there is nothing you can do.

Even if it was sol by dealer license and was a "as is" deal.

You are stuck with it.

The alternator is a common problem for a car that may have been sitting on the lot for a while.

buying anything sight unseen is really a stupid mistake especially from e bay which is known for bad deals. he’s been had.
