Any vasectomy reversal success stories? Can anybody reccommend a good doctor?

My father had the vasectomy roughly 3 years ago as well as you have been severely deliberation the reversal. At the time, formed upon the circumstances, this was the most appropriate choice for us. Can anybody suggest any recommendation upon the matter? we am wondering what the chances of success have been after 3 years? we would additionally conclude conference from anybody who is peaceful to share their not so successful annulment stories. Well, unfortunately, my husband had a vasectomy way before we ever even met. He had 2 reversal attempts with neither of them working…but, we found out that the urologist could do an extraction on his (as my hubby put it, they used a turkey baster to collect his sperm). And so we did that and did an IVF cycle.
Very happy to say that our IVF cycle worked out and we have a 4 1/2 month old son now.
