Hi everybody.. My father had vasectomy finished 4 years ago, right prior to you met (he had kids from a initial marriage) as good as is carrying it topsy-turvy in a month… The alloy you chose has a lot of knowledge in which kind of procedures, does them a couple of times each week. He (the doc) consider all will go good thereafter and, eventually, I’ll be means to conceive… Any couples which went by this? I’ll be really beholden for any stories
Thanks!!

My hubby was going to get his reversed, but we decided against it. I didn’t want him to have to go through such a strenuous procedure without any guarantees. To be honest with you I wish (sometimes) that we would have gone through with it. I still want a little girl, but I had a hysterectomy and TVT in April so now…no more children! So, good luck to you and I hope that everything goes well, and you can have a baby!
My husband had a vasectomy that didn’t work..however, there have been many cases of men who had vasectomies and in later years(as in a soap opera star, 17 years later) had their vasectomy reversed with successful results. Good luck
I have quite a few friends who have had this done, and conceived several times, successfully, afterwards. My dad actually had a vasectomy, but more than 15yrs. passed between when he had it and when it was reversed, so they have not successfully conceived. Four years isn’t long though, and as I said, lots of success that I have heard of.
I’m a reversal wife, so I’ve went through this journey you’ve started on. I see you say your dh is going to an experienced VR surgeon (that’s step one) who does VR on almost a daily basis. Also, make sure it is microsurgery and that he can perform a VE if neccessary. We had a double v to v reversal. Hubby was sore for about a week, he was back to light work 5 days post VR, and fully recovered (where he could do anything and everything eg. heavy lifting about 5 wks post). We started having sex much sooner than that…please wait the recommended time your VR doctor tells you to (I’ve heard anything from a mere 4 days up to 6 weeks before you should resume relations). We didn’t ttc for over a year for various reasons and when we did, it only took 2 cycles to concieve. We have a healthy baby boy. GL
